1950s Keystone Capri K-25 8mm Movie Camera

Found by :: Funkijunk

This is a handsome 1950s 8mm movie camera. Made by Keystone, this is a Capri K-25 model. Serial #963100.

We’re selling it as a display item since we don’t know whether or not it actually works. It is nice and clean both inside and out. The camera still winds nicely and makes that cool vintage movie camera sound when you press the recording tab!

The lens is a Keystone Elgeet 1/2″ f:2.5.

Whether it works or not, it would definitely be an excellent conversation piece to display in your home.

As a fellow vintage addict, I think the thrill of the hunt is almost as fun as the find. My love for all things vintage stems from the stories these items hold. My dad just passed on New Years day of this year at the age of 94. He still had his Keystone Capri camera which I now have serial number 919782, it still has a roll of filem in it not sure if there is anything on it. It seem too work of course I have no file and do not know who would actually develope the film if I took some pictures. I will have to check have not made the time to do so yet.
